Pam Palco has been drawing and painting since childhood, which was spent in her native England. Following
her arrival in the United States, she studied for several years under James V. Cupoli, a well-known National
Capitol Area artist. Pam works in a wide range of mediums and an almost endless variety of subject material.
Her landscape and still life works project warmth and serenity while her animal portraits reflect her depth of
feeling, understanding, and true affection.
Primarily based in the Foggy Bottom area of Washington, D.C., Pam and her husband Dick travel extensively.
Their favorite haunts are the coasts of the British Isles, Canada and the United States. Her studio in the Pocono
Mountains of Pennsylvania provides an ideal work atmosphere and setting for her continuing study of animals in
their natural surroundings.

In the first World Exhibition of Miniature Art sponsored by the Royal Miniature Society in 1995, she was awarded a "Silver Bowl" for the best of the
Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers Society of Washington, D.C. (MPSGS) offerings. Her entry in the Miniature Art Society of Florida’s (MASF)
31st Annual International Miniature Art Show in 2006 was selected as the Judge’s Second Choice, for their 32nd show in 2007 she was awarded
Second in the Floral and Botanical category and for the 75th Diamond Anniversary MPSGS show in 2008 she was awarded First Place in the
Drawing category.

Much of Pam's Art work
includes the Miniature ART.
Miniature Art is a specialty of
Art where the artist is focused
extremly at detailed work. This
composition work requires a
gentle, no more than 1/6th
scale of the actual subject.
This unique Art form, traces its
roots back to the book
paintings and illuminated
manuscripts of the 7th century.
